LAVH: What do I need to have done before I go into the hospital and after questions

I am glad to see i am not the only one having it at a young age. I am also preparing the house for my husband and kids. I was fortunate to find a live-in-nanny. I know ill have a lot of help. My husband says i am nuts and should relax and that everything will be ok.

I am a nervous wreck I walk up am down stairs I read I am walking anything to try to distract myself

My Pre-op apt is tomorrow at 2:00. I will know more about what she's thinking then. I went out with some friends tonight.. Two of which have had hysterectomy's but they had the one where they cut the tummy to get everything out. They told me this type (Lap assisted vaginal complete hysterectomy with bladder sling) Would be a breeze a lot easier than they had! Told me I should be up and at it in a week or so. I would love to believe that but I don't know from what I have been reading and what the Dr says it will be a while longer than that. She said no driving for a month and no tugging, pulling, lifting for 6 weeks. I am going to ask her about all that tomorrow.
