Re: Chronic fatiage

I hit that wall yesterday but I hadn't been getting enough sleep all week and it really caught up with me. I had a nap before supper, had a nap after supper, went to visit friends so my daughter could take stitches out of my friend's head (a story for another time), fell asleep talking to them, and when it was time to play cards, I curled up on the couch and went to sleep while the rest of the gang played. When we got home, I crashed and slept like a log until this morning. I don't know if it was the surgery but boy, I don't ever remember crashing like that. I haven't ever felt like that even right after the surgery.

If you are tired, then it is your body telling you it has had enough and it needs rest. If it continues, I would suggest you call your doctor. I am fine today otherwise I would be calling my doctor too.

Re: Chronic fatiage

If it keeps up I would get a blood test done. Check sugars and run a check on your thyroid. Those are the two things that usually cause that.

Re: Chronic fatiage

I bet your doc is worried about you being anemic. I have had anemia several times and it makes you exhausted. For me, so exhausted that I literally fell asleep on top of my computer keyboard. I am still anemic and get tired very easily. Talk to your doc and let him know how you feel. ?You may be low on certain minerals and vitamins.. Sending hugs

Sleep apnea was my thought, too. I was tested for sleep apnea a few years ago because of constant headhaches and chronic fatigue. Turns out I have it. When I don't wear my mask while sleeping I generally feel sluggish during the day. As soon as I get back into the routine of using the sleep machine I feel more energetic and less heachache-y.

I highly recommend that you have the sleep study done.

Good luck.

Re: Chronic fatiage and testesterone bio identical

It sounds to me like your hormone levels are going up and down. I am battling the yo-yo effect right now. When I wake up until about 2-5 pm I'm fatigued and all of a sudden I'm back. I am on bio identical hormones , so I am guessing its the estrogen.
If you are not on testosterone (2mg max they say) three days a week for better obsorption.,you may want to check into it. It gives you energy, sex drive, motivation, zest for life. Almost instantly.

I'm on it and now and the other night couldn't stop cleaning and organizing things. Don't take it late at night if you want to sleep. Although testosterone is at its strongest point in your body in the am.

I am tyrying to balance the estrogen part of this craziest.
Good luck

Re: Chronic fatiage

Having hormones going up and down can be really tough on your body. When I was in hospital due to illness, they stopped all meds and then began slowly starting them up again. I think hormones were last on the list and boy was I an emotional wreck. I never realized this would happen or I might have said something. Hopefully, they can figure this out so you start to feel better.
