LSH Today I forgot I had surgery

Today I am 6 weeks and 2 days since surgery. I went out and cycled 30 miles this morning with my husband. It is my third ride since surgery but today I felt so good I forgot i ever had surgery.

So grateful for my parents who let me stay with them for the first 2 1/2 weeks and allowed me to do NOTHING but heal..

I started back at the gym last week. I finally feel back to normal again. It's a great feeling. All that's left are two teeny tiny 5mm scars on my belly. Who knows, even one day they may be gone too!

Yes I had the best support which meant I was able to heal well. I also worked hard before surgery so that I would go into it if good shape.
I rode again today 20 miles, so that makes a 50 mile weekend little over 6 weeks out. I will take tomorrow off and maybe try some racquetball this week. : )

Hang in there everyone, even if your not where I am...in time you all will be feeling better, everyone is different.
