TAH Heartbeat/pulse ringing in my ears Day 3 post op

This didn't start until this morning, can her a pulse in my head, in addition to nasty headache. Anyone else have this happen? I asked my doctor and nurses about it and they didn't seem too concerned.

Yep this happened to me on day 3 also -it was REALLY loud and buzzing. It only lasted for about a day tho.

Also happened to me! Maybe something to do with your body clearing out the anesthesia? I was grateful it lasted only a day. Hope it is the same for you.

It will - don't worry. It did freak me out a bit at the time and make it hard to sleep that night but next day was all good.

It happened to me too! I hated it but it went away within a week or so. How strange. Must be the anaesthesia or pain killers, or both. Hope you get better soon. X

I hope it's gone by tomorrow. Yesterday I had my arms fall asleep from finger tips to elbow all day. Weird side effects I never would have thought of.

My hands got pins and needles too - I thought it was the strange position I was lying in. Also got horrible hallucinations from the morphine drip.
