Can I color my hair?

I had my hair colored at a salon about 3 weeks after my surgery, and it went well. It was a great pick-me-up. I suppose like everything else this is one more way in which each of us is different.

I think I'd be most concerned about rinsing the color out in the shower. Do you have a close girlfriend who could help you?

Can I color my hair?

I'm planning on coloring my hair tomorrow. I do it myself. I have been doing it myself for about 15 yrs. Always the same color, same brand and it always comes out exactly the same. So now it can come out different? That is scary. I have to do it. TAH, ovaries taken, not taking hormones. Is it the hormones that could cause a problem are just the meds. i'm 40 and if I didn't color my hair I would be completely grey. My Dad was prematurely grey.
i think I could deal with hair with three different colors thatn be grey.

Can I color my hair?

I'm 3 months post op, I have been coloring my hair for the last few years. My natural haircolor is black, but I like to color it a light ash blonde to make it look like a soft light brown. Well a few weeks ago I colored my hair, and only the top half of my hair took the color, and the bottom half didn't. So now I have weird looking hair, and I don't know why it happened. This never happened to me before my hyst.

Can I color my hair?

I did my hair 1 week after my lsh and rinsed it in the sink. Did pick me up for a minute or two. Yesterday I even polished my toenails and fingernails hoping to cheer up which it did til DH got home and didn't notice. Today went and got my hair cut and felt good, I thought it looked good too but again DH didn't notice so that depressed me again.

Can I color my hair?

My dh colors my hair and he did so 3weeks post op. I too had greys jsut popping out like crazy during those three weeks. It felt good. I also have that coarse hair that soem sisters talk about after anesthesia. IT really took to absorbing..like extra thirsty. DH was almost short of solution.I felt a little chipper aftwerwards. :dance2:

Can I color my hair?

I am 1 week post op today. I went and had my hair color done yesterday. It made me feel good. I had a colostomy reversed also so this has been really exciting. The nurses made me get up and move starting 2 days after surgery and I am very glad. I am walking a lot now and getting around good. I did take a nap yesterday.
