I am now 3 weeks post-op after an LAVH total. I guess lately I have over done some. Today I went to BJ's with my husband. He drove (even though I can now) Just walking around BJ's I had to sit down twice! Felt like my bottom was going to drop out! And my back was hurting. When will this go away? Anyone in or around the same situation.

How do you add the smilies and things to your threads??

I am 3 weeks today post op too! I felt like that last week and just started taking lots of short walks to get my back in shape. I think it just got lazy for the first 2 weeks when I didn't move too much. My incision is HUGE from the belly button to the pubic bone and it was most painful just to roll over in bed. After the walks my back started feeling better. Just don't over do it!!!!
ps...go advanced and you will see all the cute little smilies to add!!!

Three weeks tomorrow and still feel good. No hormones but I am having night sweats. I had a TAH with remaining right ovary removed 3/30. Today I have been tired well just no energy so I ran a few errrands and layed down the rest of the day. Check up next week I think all is going pretty good just a waiting game. LLH

Thanks for your replys sisters. I wanted to add, I also am still sore in the stomach even though I had this done by laparscopy. I guess it is still because I am doing too much. I just wonder how long it will take before I don't have the soreness in my stomach area.
G... I wish I could cut the grass, and vacume. I know that sounds crazy. But I have always been a busy person and like to do those things. I love the yard work and keeping busy. I go to the doc's next week for my 4 week check up. I assume I will be returning to work the following week. I think what started this soreness again, right before Easter I was out to the stores most of the day! We'll by the end of that day I could hardly walk

When I go grocery shopping, I have to rest up the rest of the day. Pushing the heavy cart really gets my back to hurting. I'm not going again on my own if I have a lot to get, so DH or DS can push the cart. I think maybe the short daily walks would be better on me than walking one end to the other of a Wal*Mart Super Cntr.

Praying that all of our back pains ease up real soon!!!
