Last minute thought...

Does having an LAVH take away ovulation pain? Just curious because I'm just about to start ovulating and always get terrible pain with it. I can live with it if ill still have it far better than the other pain I'm experiencing. Just a thought that popped in my head

Last minute thought...

My doctor told me that, by keeping my ovaries, I may have some of my period symptoms after the hysterectomy but I would imagine it depends on where it hurts... Of course no more uterine pain.

Re: Last minute thought...

I don't know if it's objectively any different than before my hysterectomy but it sure feels better than it did... there's still some achy/pokey feeling but it seems less intense. Whether that's a genuine, physical reality or a psychosomatic result of being in far less pain in other ways, I can't say.... and don't really care.
I just know I feel better.

I don't get any ovulation pain anymore at all where I used to all the time. I imagine its different for everyone but I hope yours at least gets better.
