ok to wear panty hose?

I had a TAH on the 23 of April. One of my children has an event that I want to attend this Saturday and I need to get a dress on. Is there any reason why panty hose aren't a good idea? Other than who wants to wear them, but I need to!

I had to LOL when I read the title of your post~~I think it is ok to wear them I was just trying to vision myself wrestling them on~~~I have to sit sideways to put socks on.

If you can stand to wear them, go for it! I can't even stand wearing jeans yet, let alone PANTY HOSE! Good luck and let us know how things go!

Yes, I think if you get the control top panty hose you will love the support.

I actually like the support of the control top panty hose better than a panty girdle. I find right now a panty girdle to be too much support after just a few hours.

I even cut the legs off some control top panty hose and I am wearing them under my shorts. Hey its cheaper too!!

I wish I would have bought more bigger undies. I only got 3 pair, mysteriously one pair (the ones I like best) got lost in the wash.

I still have trouble with pantyhose cutting into me. Some days they are fine but if I have to wear them for very long the swellybelly revolts. I have had to resort to knee-hi's - UGH!!! Talk about an old grannie! About the only skirts that I have that I can accomodate the swellybelly are mid calf anyway so the knee-hi's don't show. Part of my problem is that I am tall and most pantyhose hit me right across the most tender part of my belly. I try to wear them lower but they don't stay put very well. I suggest wearing them awhile tomorrow so that you can see how they are going to feel.

I wore them, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I really stretched them before putting them on. They did give some support, but I noticed a lot of "twinges and pulls" that aren't there normally. I was glad to come home and get back into my sweatpants!
