Low grade fever??

I started to get really cold about an hour ago and when my hubby kissed my cheek he said it felt hot. I took my temp and am running a fever of 100.3. Should I go back to the hospital or is this normal at 4 days post op

I don't know that it's normal but I would call your doctor in the morning. I ran a low grade, 99.5-100.5, for the first week and my dr wasn't concerned but worth a call to be sure. Hope you feel better!

Well I went to sleep shortly after I posted this and the fever disappeared sometime through the night. Not sure what caused it. Maybe I overdid it by going to the grocery store and that was my body's way of saying enough. Either way I'm glad the fever is gone

And it's back again. Same as last night. Low grade but other than fever I feel fine. Going to call my dr again tomorrow. This is weird

Mine did the same thing, came and went for no reason but was usually worse in the evenings. Be sure to get lots of rest, maybe you're just overdoing it? Hope it gets better!

I'm hoping thats all it is. It's just odd how it only comes at night

I ran a low grade fever just like that around the second week. My Dr wasn't concerned and it went away after a week. Mine was only at night, also. That's when your ketones are lower.

I had strange fevers like that for the entire first week. I am lucky as my mom is an ER nurse and was quick to comfort me. So I will pass on her words of wisdom, fever over 101 call the doctor anything under is your body temp going up from trying so hard to heal, which is also why its usually higher at night ♡ I hope you feel better soon and have a speedy recovery

Thank you that does help! I'm going to call my doc tomorrow anyway just to be safe. I'm hoping it really is nothing

Talked to my doctors office today. He's sending me for a urine sample to rule out bladder infection
