Worried, waiting for dr's call on hysterectomy

Today was my last day of work, so I was feeling good when I walked in the door. Then my hubby said my gp called. He told her I was on my way home from work and she said she would call in 20 minutes. That was 11/2 hours ago. The thing is she called from the hospital and not her office, so I can't call her back. I'm worried that something showed up in my labs and that they'll cancel surgery. I know there are a million other reasons why she might call, but I'm nervous.

I had a call from the hospital a few days before my surgery. They had to move my surgery back a few hours due to a conflict with the x-ray machine. It could be something like that, or a million others.

My doctor called me the night before with my lab results because my liver enzymes were a little high. It was no big deal, but he wanted me to be aware of it before I went in if someone asked about it.

Dr. finally called. She had my lab results. My blood glucose level and my creatinine level were slightly elevated. She said we could deal with it after recovery. Surgery is still on - YAY! On the other hand, all of this started 10 months ago when the e.r. admitted me with a bacterial infection, massive kidney stone, mass on my pancreas (not cancer) and a dermoid cyst. I spent my entire summer having medical tests done and my entire winter waiting for this hysterectomy. I was hoping this surgery would be the end of my medical issues for a while.
