I don't know if any of you feel the same, but no matter what I do to feel better, some days I still feel blah!

Mori- I think it is the hormones. Since you can't take HRT, I think you really need to start some vitamins or supplements. They say exercise is suppose to help, (I hate to exercise though) When do you go back to work? I think that has helped me because I have to think about other things. Let me know what you think.

Feeling Blah!

I am sitting here this morning feeling like I want to hide from the world, crawl back into bed and pull the covers over my head and have a good crying jag. But strange thing happened. After 7 weeks of fog and clouds the sun came out this morning, I opened the curtains and I don't know why but feeling the sun has calmed me. 2 days ago I told my dr about the unexpected crying and anger, the blah times and she said I had gone through a major life changing situation and so it is normal to be a little depressed and she put me on an anti-depressant. Which I will start tomorrow because the pharmacy didn't have it until today. But also the dr told me that the winter is the worst time for this because everyone goes through the winter blues and this makes this time worse for us. She suggested I try going to a tanning bed to get uv rays to help. Maybe she is right, the sun sure is helping this morning! Ladies, try talking to your dr about your emotions, they can't help if you don't tell. And if that dr doesn't listen like you hope, try a second opinion.

My prayers are with you,
Rebecca

Feeling Blah!

I feel blah because it is the same thing every day, computer, reading, TV. Not necessarily in that order. I feel I am getting bigger and bigger the longer I sit here but I don't have much choice in the matter. I have steep stairs in our house and that gives me some exercise. But I have noticed it is getting harder to get up them instead of easier as the days go by. Oh well, wejust have to expect better days are coming. God Bless- Cath

I think that boredom has a lot to do with it as well. If I'm busy or out of the house doing things I'm okay, but at home with the same daily routine I feel like my life is passing me by. I feel like I need an escape from everything & everyone ..do I make any sense?

Have you thought about hobbies?
What about planning a spring flower garden - maybe a couple of container gardens (in flower pots)? Read up on the types of flowers that work well together... color-wise, texture-wise, and size-wise.
Work out diagrams on the computer or a piece of paper.
Schizanthus wisetonensis nicknamed "Poor Man's Orchid" are gorgeous and grow well in Canada. There is a photo of one on this website: www.thegardenhelper.com

Have you thought about writing a novel? There are writers' groups available both in some areas and on the internet. Bookstores and libraries have books with manuscript guidelines...

Do you work outside the home? Have you thought about doing volunteer work through a charitable organization?

Do you like to read? There is a new series of inspirational romances out in the Steeple Hill series that I find uplifting.
