could it be hormonal?

I was able to keep my ovaries, so this is probably a dumb question, but- I am feeling as though my body temp has changed-before lavh I was and have always been cold( to the extreme) now I need one blanket at night( compared to 3 or 4) I keep the windows open and it is not hot flashes-just hot...dh noticed it too as he closes the windows...
could this be hormones?

I dont thin it should be hormones. Your body is still going through changes. I would wait and see what happens. I remember being out all the time after my surgey.

Just make sure you aren't running a fever.

Our ovaries go into shock after the surgery, but I don't know how long it takes for them to start working again. It could be hormonal. I have been freezing during the day and too hot at night.

I have heard tat the ovaries are shocked...hard to understand...I think I am still shocked to have lost an entire part of me....it is really odd....

Your ovaries are more then likey still in shock. That is something that does happen. And it can take them a wile to start working again. If you start having problems call your dr and talk with them.

I had cold sweats and seemed like a fever but I checked and had a normal temp right after surgery for a couple of weeks. Now things are back to normal and no more sweats, etc.

It does take time to see what the body is going to do and every one's body behaves in it's own unique way.
