6 WEEKS Post-Hysterectomy Leg Pain

I am nearly 6 weeks post-op from a complete abdominal hysterectomy. I also had a 5lb fibrothecoma (the reason for the hysterectomy.
I am doing pretty good with the wound and the pelvic pain is almost gone, although I still feel an occasional zing or two. About 3 weeks after surgery I started feeling some pain at the top of my legs and down my inner thighs. I called my Dr and they sent me for an ultrasound and there were no clots. She thinks it might be muscle pain and suggested warm baths and stretching. It has helped a little but it is still there. I am hoping this will go away soon and I can go on with my normal life.:

How has the leg pain been, have you noticed any improvement? I began to have pain at the groin when sitting accompanied by pain down the inside of both thighs at about 2 or 3 weeks post op. For me this is likely due to my SI joint being "off" since my surgery. You may consider massage therapy or a physiotherapy assessment to make sure all is well with your back and your posture. Our positioning during surgery and our posture during recovery can throw off our hips and back, and can cause all sorts of aches and pains.
