Hysterectomy: June 2nd, 2011

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Bm issues

I am over a month post-op and am still having a problem with the fact that when I eat shortly after eating I have to have a bm. How long does this go on I am afraid to go out to eat because of this. Does anyone have any tips? Hope you all had a safe fourth of july weekend.

Hi there,

A person should have at least 1 to 2 bowel movements a day. I normally have them 15-20 minutes after I eat. What is different from before surgery to after surgery?
