PMS Rant

Hello Sisters! I really hate to do this, but I need to rant. Right now, this is the only place I feel safe enough to do it. So, here goes:

I've had my usual 2 weeks worth of stabbing pain from my right ovary and heavy, achey, sometimes painful cramping from my uterus. Nothing new. BBs got a little sore, nothing new. The crankies stepped in. Nothing new there. BUT, this cycle, what's supposed to be my very last period ever, has brought along a terribly uncomfortable bought of bloating and swelling. It is horrible! I've never experienced anything like this before. My acne is just raging like never before and now, on top of everything else, I feel like I've been kicked in the crotch...like everything is just bruised...everywhere. And, good ol' Aunt Flo still hasn't reared her ugly head. She was do to arrive a day ago. If she comes tomorrow I'll be confused about whether or not I'm supposed to start my norethindrone so I was really hoping she'd be here by today at the latest. Big day tomorrow, and I can't fit into any of my clothes. Lovely.

I know a lot of this is probably coming from the added stress of knowing that this is my last period, that I'm scared to take the norethindrone, and the thought of the surgery is still kind of scary. So maybe this is all just the added stress. I don't know. Either way, I just want it over with. I hope that by Tuesday the worst is behind me (the first two days are always my heaviest). Then I'll at least be a little more comfortable when I go back to work on Wednesday.

Ok, sorry for the rant. Thanks for staying with me if you made it this far. Things will be better soon!

Re: PMS Rant

Rant away..I've never been on norethidndrone so can't offer any words of advice on that..but just know that soon, very soon, this will all be over and you will be on the road to recovery..and it will be so worth it.
I'm sorry you're going through this..it feels like I"m not offering very much support, but just know that there is someone who cares..and will listen...and offer virtual hugs.

((hugs))
