cold or hot

I was wondering if appling a hot pad or cold pad to your swelly belly would help with the pain and swelling?

I don't know what you are suppose to do. Ask the doctor before you go home. I do know that warmth feels better for cramps but cold is suppose to be good for swelling. More than anything, I would think that sofa time with feet elevated would feel good.

Some buy the binder and use it a few hours in the afternoon when the comes. This binder feels good but if you decide to use one, use it just for a few hours a day and ween off of it after a few weeks. Your muscles need to learn to work. And again, always consult with your doctor.
