7 weeks out w/ yeast infection and bleeding?

I saw my doc last week and I was given a complete release. Well on Monday I felt a yeast infection coming on so I bought some Monistat. I get LOTS of yeast infections and they can be very stubborn. After treating it on my own for 4 days I called the Ob/Gyn yesterday and he gave me Diflucan instead and said to d/c the Monistat.

Well today I woke up and I'm bleeding again. Bright red. Should I assume it's just from irritation? It's not a whole lot but I had stopped having any kind of discharge at all so it was just upsetting to me.

Re: 7 weeks out w/ yeast infection and bleeding?

Could be that you irritated the vagina with the use of the monistat...but any bleeding is a cause for concern...take it easy this weekend and try and lay on your back with your knees elevated and see if that helps

But if you are worried then please go and see a doctor even the ER if you need too

As for yeast infections I too use to get alot of them until I greatly reduced my sugar intake and then they stopped
