Transportation to hospital (update: problem solved)

The ride connection just called me back, and there is a very good chance they can help me with the ride home. It's done through the Red Cross volunteers, so I will pray that the over 2 gallons of blood that I gave in the past (mind you, that's one pint at a time!!) will turn around and help me when I need it most! That takes alot of anxiety off of me so I can focus my energy where it needs to be~on preparing for the surgery then the healing afterwards.

That is such great news!! I am so happy that things are working out for the better for you! Now you can just focus on preparing and then recovering. Sounds like you have two great kitties to help you recover! I have 3 Bichon Frises (dogs, but don't tell them that!) that will help comfort me. They laid beside me after my lyproscopic exploratory surgery last month. Arn't pets the best?

Good news! I have read but haven't posted in this thread until now. I was actually thinking about you as I drove my son home from a game today and was hoping things would work out.
