Silly Question or is it a discussion?

I can only say that I too am embarrassed by stating that I have to have this surgery. I am not one to discuss periods or other personal things and now everyone seems too know that I have to have this surgery. I think that it is just my "make-up" that I don't like to discuss these things and to think that I have to have surgery no less is enough to put me over the edge - however, I figure that I am not alone in this and I just have to grin and bear it. Very soon, it will be a distant memory - I hope, life will march on and noone will remember that I had to have this surgery.

Silly Question or is it a discussion?

Thinmint:
At Church yesterday, a well-wisher was inquiring about the nature of my upcoming surgery. I stammered on it for a minute. My four year old did not skip a beat. He poked my belly and said, "She's defective. We're sending her in to get her tummy fixed." I thought I would die. Out of the mouth of babes. You're right - you're not alone. We're here for you.
God's blessings,
Kim

Now is your time to get pampered, I have a feeling you have done your share for others. If you don't get enough in person. You have the "sisters" support. I am strong willed as well. It actually hasnt hit me yet. My castle date is August 14th. School is starting and my DH is telling me everything is going to be okay. This is a lifechanging experience that hasn't HIT me yet. I did go and purchase a laptop, wireless connection will be set up by the 7th, so I can stay in contact with my "sisters". God bless. Let them be of service to you for once.
