Home and doing great

I am home and doing fantastic. My surgery was Wednesday 11/1/06 LAVH/BSO. Everything was absolutely perfect. My frozen sections on by uterus, both overies, pelvic mass and tumor are benign but the full biopsy will not be ready until my 1 week check on Wednesday . I do have a huge hematoma on my right side from my belly button to my hip bone and all the way down my right leg. They have measured it (it has already way overgrown its original marking) and put a pressure bandage on it and then an abdominal binder. Other than that I feel great. I have some abdominal pain and I am tired, but other than that -all is good. The worst part of this whole thing is the worrying. All of you who are still waiting for your surgery or who are scared or who are unsure, it is a piece of cake. Please know that I will be thinking of you and praying for you often. Thank you all for all of your support. You are a great support group.

Keep resting, keep healing, and thanks for taking the time to report in. For those of us who are still pre-op, these "testimonies" are just what we need to be even more calm, and more ready, for our own visit to the Castle.
