Cramping with gas and diarrhea!

I have been having alot of cramping with gas and diarrhea. I had a TAH nearly 3 wks ago. Is this normal? I go to the bathroom 4 or 5 times a day! Thanks for your help!

Having diarrhea for 3 weeks is not normal. Especially if you are going 4-5 times a day. That's a lot. You should call your doctor.

I'm sorry that I wasn't more specific. I have been doing this for about 5 days.

if it is not a virus i think i would try eating more fiber to firm up your stools.

You may want to call your doc. You had antibiotics prior to the surgery and this can cause c-diff. I got it when I had my appendix out last year. It causes severe diarrhea and with that comes dehydration and weight loss. To be on the safe side, call your doc to see if she thinks its normal or if you should get a stool sample tested.

OHH!!! You probably need to change your diet to help get your stools a little more solid. Try eating crackers and cheese over the week end. If that doesn't work, I would call my doctor.
