TVH 9 days post hysterectomy pain

Hello. I had a TVH on 11/18/16. My dr said everything went well, as expected. I got home and showered. I noticed the right side of my "crotch area" was sore when I washed. I had my husband look to see if there was something down there and there was. If I pull my lip back there is a flat white area with a red border that lines up with the same type of thing on my labia minora. This showed up after surgery. I'm wondering if one of the tools my dr used burned me or what. It hurts and it itches at times. I go for my 2 week follow up on 12/2 and will have her check it out but has anyone else experienced this??

I haven't had that exact same thing, but it doesn't sound normal. I'd call about it and talk to a nurse for sure.

I'm 10 days post op and having deep vaginal pains...makes me worry about the cuff. My doc didn't want to see me until 4 weeks post op ...but he's gonna see me tomorrow about why I've been bleeding for 8 days straight!

I called and they said it can happen sometimes and also asked if I had herpes!! Nooooo!! I'll be seeing her Friday! Thanks!

I had the same problem. It is considered a burn from one of the instruments they use. I was told to put desitin on it. I did and it went away in a day or two.

It's getting better but wow! She could've told me. Glad it went away for u!!
