Exactly. Yes, granted, the brain is an odd thing and cause physical symptoms. I struggle accepting my belly with the scar for example which causes issues. But it sometimes feels that Dr. say it's in our brains as they cannot think of a 'standard' solution and because it's easy for them. I wish I could suggest what you could do now. But I feel with you. Grrrr.... It brought back memories to my own situation too. Hope you get help eventually!

Hang in there, my iron level was at a 6 before surgery and was feeling like you.

The iron pills will kick in and you'll feel better. Doesn't happen over night but you'll get there.

If you can get some iron infusions that works faster, I had two infusions and they worked out really well.

Stay on the iron pills. As your iron levels increase over the next several weeks, your mood will improve and you'll have more energy. You can use the increased energy levels to look for a new doctor who actually listens to you.
