TVH - Need fashion tips

CAmich,
So glad there is another "sister" out there with the Oh so important fashion questions on her mind. I find that thinking about what to wear, scheduling a pre-op mani/pedicure, massage, etc. keeps my mind occupied during the wait.
Don't want to focus on the fear (might cause wrinkles!!!)
I am sure that you'll be gorgeous in any outfit. We're going in on the same
day. I'll be thinking of you. Chris

I hope that you are recovering well and feeling better! Thanks for the info about the thin pads. Regular or super, if you don't mind my asking? If you think of anything else you needed at the hospital or that you find particularly useful during your recovery, please let me know.

No problem! That's why I'm still here!

My pads were regulars. I didn't bleed heavy. I asked for ice packs right away. They really took the edge off down there. Plus they kept me cool. For some reason, they kept it warm in my room. HA! Maybe that was just me! A good hand cream and chapstick is a must. Everything is dry. I didn't read my book, but I did play my hand held Wheel of Fortune quite a bit. I brought slippers, but no robe. I just stuck to my bottoms and loose tshirts. I stood up every chance I could and paced my room. That really helped move the gas down. I ordered extra fruit and drinks with my meals for later snacks.

At home, I can't think of much. Extra soft baby wipes. Toilet paper kills. I'm still in my pjs. Plan to be for quite some time. Don't want anyone to get the idea that I'm well. Had my 9 year old paint my piggy's todays. That made me feel better. Anything that makes you feel good on a regular day.

That's about it. Move often. Take your GasX, keep plenty of drinks around, take your meds as scheduled.
