Anyone else out there NOT have post-op bleeding?

I'll post my story soon. but I see a lot of reference to bleeding or spotting weeks out.

I have not had any bleeding at all. A smidge of spotting the first night, gone before discharged the next afternoon. And nothing since.

I read in my post-op info that I may have some around now (8-10 days) when the stitches begin dissolving.

Even when I "over do" it - a few loads of laundry (with help on the lifting) or two times I have been out to run errands with my teenage son as my chaffeaur . . . nothing.

Just curious . . . anyone else had this . . . or is "on it's way"?

Re: Anyone else out there NOT have post-op bleeding?

My DR told me to expect a little bleeding,or none at all.I have not had any bleeding at all,and I am 7 weeks healed.Just a tiny bit of occasional pink smears. Now what to do with my stash of super pads and diapers?

Thanks. I was just wondering. I know I'm only out just a week but with absolutely nothing, I wondered.

You may find that you get some spotting after like you said, the stitches start to dissolve but if not... 1 less thing to worry about, enjoy!! Hope you're healing well.

Re: Anyone else out there NOT have post-op bleeding?

I've had nothing more than a few pink spots.....except for one night when I got up to use the potty and there was a bit of blood in the toilet - but nothing on the pad or when I wiped. I asked the doctor about this yesterday and she told me to enjoy the not bleeding I'm just over a week out, too

I kept my cervix and it was cauterized. I had a little brown on the toilet tissue when i wiped about the 2nd or 3rd day after my surgery. I mean just a little. That was it. No red blood of any kind. I was very happy with that.

Had some in hospital but not alot since. Was wearing a pantiliner but not now. I figure we bled enough before our surgeries maybe this is God's gift to us. Laura
