5 weeks post op and glad for no sex

Hi all,

Every once in a while I read posts here from ladies who could hardly wait to get the "green light" to resume sex. I'm 5 weeks out and while not yet cleared, I have had zero desire. I have my ovaries, but between tummy tenderness and exhaustion and lots of little pains, I am so not feeling it!! I'm getting a little scared though that I'll stay this way.

Anyone else in this boat?

I have seen ladies go both ways. Certainly ovaries may shut down temporarily-causing decreased desire. Pain and tenderness most definately don't make for "green lught" thinking. . If you had normal desire before, I bet it will return! Take care of yourself.
