1 1/2 week post op

Hi there Im 1 1/2 week post op and surgery went well, they said they had some initial problems because my uterus had lots of scar tissue build up for them to remove first but all in all everything went good, they left my ovaries. Recovery was pretty good better once I came home have my dear mother hear with me helping with kids, hubby, and home. Thank god for her. Just wondering I am having some spotting is this normal, also I have much more severe pain in my lower right side it even hurts to turn slightly on that side. Any info would be great.

TAH April 8 kept ovaries.

Spotting can last for several weeks. My doc says as long as a maxi pad isn't saturated in a short amount of time, it's ok. If it's all contained in a panty liner or mini, you're probably ok, but you shouldn't have fresh blood.

I remember being more sore on one side than the other, especially if I slept on that side the night before. Severe pain should be checked with your doctor though.
