dull pelvic pain

This evening I started having dull pelvic pain. The best way to describe it is like the first day or two of a period (though the pain doesn't come and go). I never had cramps until this year and it was due to adenomyosis. I haven't needed a heating pad since surgery and I had to reheat it (microwave type) twice.

The only thing I can think of is possibly overdoing it, but I didn't do much. I went to work for just over 2 hours; the chair was very uncomfortable those last 15 minutes of staff meeting. Came home and have been resting in bed since.

Has anyone else experienced pelvic pain?

Re: dull pelvic pain

Yes, I had a LSH on Sept. 26th, and I am still having pelvic pain and pressure. I returned to work last Wednesday, Oct. 24 th, and it is almost unbearable sitting at my desk for long periods. I have been working partial days and then some total days from home. As long as I am laying down, I feel okay, but sitting is still pretty rough! It is getting better, but I never imagined that going back to work after 4 weeks would be an issue. I thought that I was allowing more than enough time for a "full recovery".

The cramps are your body's way of telling you to take it easy. Just make sure you are resting plenty after work. It gets better.
