comic relief

I said goodbye to my 7th graders today and of course they wanted to know the details of my surgery. I told them that I had tumors in my abdomen that were going to come out. Then one boy, one of the spec. ed. students, piped up "If they can't get them out will they have to put you down?"

LOL, is his dad a vet? Isn't it hilarious the things that kids say!

It's great that you have a good sense of humor! I have a handicapped DD and it still surprises me what she can come up with sometimes

PS I used to teach also and when I was pregnant with my first, one boy with a baby brother said "I hope your water breaks at school0l so you look like you peed you pants!" It was my first child so I was so worried about that happening. LOL
