When Can Drive

Thank you all for the great feedback -

Talked to my dr this morning - she said okay to drive at 2 weeks as long as I'm off the tylenol w/ codeine. It's funny, although I really want to get out there and resume "normal" life, I am also very conscious about paying attn to what my body is telling me. So I figure I'll just approach the driving thing cautiously and not push myself.

I have 400 hours of sick leave at work. I haven't even had a vacation that is more than a few days at a time in about 3 years. We're moving into a "high pressure" situation at work and I feel like I should be going back (very) part-time as I'm the dept manager. On the other hand, I keep telling myself that it hasn't even been 2 weeks since surgery and maybe I need to start practicing letting go of control - really hard when it comes to my job (which isn't that important!)
