PMS Post op

Tomorrow would have been the time for AF to visit. So, today I am crampy and grumpy (yesterday I was evil). It's not as bad, but I definitely know I am PMS-ing. I guess the good news is the ovary they left must be working. But man, I was hoping that I wouldn't have this to deal with anymore. Is anyone else still having PMS?

Re: PMS Post op

*raises hand reluctantly* LoL

I have been the same way for the past few days! Down right evil... I was cracking up to be hormonal changes but this is the time Aunt Flo would be rearing her ugly head for me too... I have kept both ovaries... (right ovary half dissected) Did you?? I too, was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with this anymore either... Manly i was hoping my family would have to deal...

Sheesh! Being a girl is HARD! LoL

*hugs "fellow" PMS'er*

PS: I just noticed your signature stating you have your left ovary... WoW! Can we really get PMS symptoms?? ~*cries* LoL

Re: PMS Post op

I'm glad to hear I am not the only one, but sorry that you are going through it, too. I am hurting. I am feeling a little ripped off. I am still achy from the surgery and now I have this to deal with, too. My back and legs HURT bad. Today should be the last day, though.

I asked the Dr about it before I even agreed to have the surgery. He said most women have none, but some do still have full PMS symptoms. Of course I m one of the few "lucky" ones.

I agree about being a girl is hard. I have 3 daughters, I am so scared of what I have passed on to them.

Re: PMS Post op

OMG - me too - just not as bad as it used to be, thank goodness! noticed that ache that i always got in my lower back, near my right hip the other day - had to look at the calender and sure enough, it was "that time" - breast have been a little sensitive too, but again, not as bad - kept both ovaries so i guess i should have expected this...

i can deal with the mild pms stuff as long as I dont have to deal with the mess that was associated with it anymore!!

Heres hoping that the pms symptoms get less and less as time goes by - for all of us!!!

Re: PMS Post op

Yeah, me too. I'm regretting keeping both ovaries right now. My left one has a problem releasing the egg, so every month I get pain in the side. Said pain grows with the cyst for the next two weeks. Doctor said both ovaries looked fine on the outside, so that's why she left them alone. So now it's birthcontrol pills to try to make it stop...which so far, hasn't stopped the pms or the ovulating. Patience is not something I've been blessed with...

Re: PMS Post op

I agree, it was not as bad. But it was worse than I was expecting. I kind of thought there would be none. No such luck, I guess. I am really looking forward to tossing all my old panties and buying new ones. I think I'll wait for the swelling to go down, first.
