Day 2 post op davinci hyst/oopher

Well

It is day 2 of my recovery. Last night i had the most awful pain in my stomach and arm(figured it was from the CO2 gas. It hurt so bad. I cried because nothing i did helped. I walked and drank hot tea with lemon. Finally i slept and felt better today.

This morning i walked for 30 minutes, showered and did a little laundry and took a motrin. Tried taking a nap but could not really sleep. I dont really like naps. I still have not had a bowel movement but i am passing gas and belching. Drinking lots of water and taken stool softeners daily. Im guessing since i did a pretty thorough bowel prep that it needs time.

Well hopefully i will be able to sleep tonight. Will update tomorrow

Hi there,

Did your doctor give you discharge instructions? I haven't heard of anyone being released to walk for 30 minutes, do laundry, and shower on day two post-op. I don't want to lecture you, but seriously...you should be resting, resting, resting and pampering yourself.
