Wow that was stupid dissaster averted

Was out feeding goats with the dog running around.
They needed a bale of hay so thought I could just knock one down quick. Down come 4 bales falling everywhere.
Thankfully i had the brains to stay out of way and not try to grab them. Can't imagine if they would have hit me.
So ok come out of shed and call the dog. Was in there longer then thought and she was way up by road and I live along a highway of sorts and my house is the last of 3 along our drive. Hubby just happened to be pulling in there and saw her.

Ok so I could be under 4 bales of hay and stupid dog could be dead but were are both all good.
Though major trouble with hubby

I'm glad everything turned out ok. I hope you'll realize nothing is worth risking an injury like that. Straining to even push a bale of hay off the stack could have been bad and running after the dog could have been a whole 'nuther situation to set you back.
Please take it easy and let others do the heavy stuff. I hope you're feeling ok now and can finish healing with no problems.

I am used to working with goats and horses and dogs, too.
It's really amazing how you can get out there in the pen or pasture and start feeling so good you feel like you could just do this ONE little thing that is really very easy, after all,....used to do it all the time and it was nothing and besides, the darlings are soooo hungry....
Got in trouble with dh a couple of times, too.
Just remember this is a (hard) lesson in patence!!!
