Ready for tomorrow!

Ok, tomorrow is the big day. started my bowel prep 2hrs ago. Stuff does not taste as bad as i thought. Only thing is nothing is happening yet. Clear diet all day. I am starving. broth soup is not that filling. Watching my husband eat is not helping that much either. Poor husband, looks more nervous then me. He has been great. Already waiting on me hand and foot. for everyone going in monday , i will be thinking of you.

Ready for tomorrow!

I have been so productive this week. We ripped out our bathroom and re did it, I spring cleaned the house, I've relanscaped our front yard and went grocery shopping. Whew!

I'm ready and excited for tomorrow. I just hope nothing goes wrong that they tell me they have to reschedule!!

Good luck ladies. See you on the other side!!!

One trick that I learned for the clear liquids / bowel prep is to be sure to have something to drink every hour (my drink of choice is tea w Splenda). Don't wait to be thirsty. All the liquids help the process.

Best wishes for your procedure!

Ready for tomorrow!

Good luck tomorrow!! It will be so nice to have it done with. I was a bit nervous before but it all went so fast I was out before I knew it and in the recovery room with the good drugs so I was pretty out of it hardly remember that part.

I didn't have that kind of bowel prep I just had an enema the night before but I have read other posts on this board that people were saying it took 4-5 hours for the bowel prep to start working.

Ready for tomorrow!

Good luck, ladies, on your surgeries tomorrow. I thought the mag citrate was taking a little long, too, but believe me, it worked. See you on the other side.
