Question?????

My weight gain was due to fast growing fibroids and a large cyst and the weight loss was due to said things being removed. I have not gained any weight since surgery, but I am also eating better and exercising. You may gain a little weight, due to not being able to do much, but it should not be too bad. Once you are given the all clear by your doctor, you can start exercising again.

Question?????

The surgery itself does not cause you to gain weight. Eating more than you burn off is what causes it. You won't be as active so watch what you eat until you can get moving again.
