TAH numbness in pelvic area

I'm 7 weeks post op today and doing great. But I just noticed I'm completely numb in d area above my bikini line incision. Anyone experienced numbness such as this? Please help.

I'm just over ten weeks post-op, and I still have numbness above my incision. It's not as noticeable as it was earlier, but it is definitely still there. From what I've read in other posts, that's pretty common. It just feels weird, though.

This is totally normal. I was completely numb for the entire length of my incision and for about an inch above that for a couple of months. The numbness started to recede after that and it took till 8 or so months post-op before I regained all sensation. Some ladies are left with spots of numbness. If it starts tingling or getting itchy, those are a good sign that the nerves are regenerating. It might drive you to distraction but I welcomed it because I knew the nerves were healing. Cold packs help with the itching.
