At last!!!
Well, it kinda depends on which day you ask!
When I came home from the hospital it was better, getting rid of the hard as a rock "lump" was the best part. But it was still a little swelled. I lost 12 lbs in the hospital between the surgery and 3-4 days of not eating hardly anything (I think the bowel prep took off about 3 of those 12 lbs!)
Anyway, after a couple days home it seemed the swelling was going down and I was feeling pretty good. The bad part is that during recovery of course your'e not moving around very much and I got my appetite back and was doing some nervous nibbling and I've gained back 6 lbs!:snort:
Even though I'm still struggling with the weight, I have to admit when I look at my profile now, I don't look pregnant anymore, which is wonderful! My pants fit better, but I still don't like wearing pants with zippers, they just seem to make my incision feel raw. I suppose that is because I have a vertical incision and it runs right along the zipper part. But of course, that gets better everyday too.
I wish you good luck and hope you recover with a flatter stomach!
