Protein/Blood in Urine?

I started bleeding last night. I haven't taken the provera to bring on my period as I usually have to do and know that this will be a bad one. My last drug-induced period was in September. My doc explained to me that , and if I understand correctly, that my nasty ole uterus builds up so and can't take anymore and that creates the awful bleeding. At my June appt, before we talked about and decided on the hyst (October), she told me to take the provera once every 3 months for 10 days to bring on a period. We didn't discuss at my last appt if I was to continue the provera and I assumed that I wouldn't bleed again. I'm upset and miserable.

I have a physical tomorrow with my primary care doc. Can I still have a urinalysis done when I'm bleeding?

On a positive note, my supervisor and her boss met with me yesterday to go over my desk while I will be out and get my imput on who can do what. They were both so nice to me..my supervisor is a woman, who had a hyst last year, and her boss is male. They both told me to take all the time I need and recover fully before I come back. I told them that I assumed the company(insurance company) would not allow me to be out over 6 weeks and they both told me that is up to my doc. My sup told me to be honest with my doc and if I'm not ready to come back my doc should keep me out. She came back 6 weeks after a tah and said she really wasn't ready and was so miserable and she doesn't want me to make the same mistake! I just really appreciated the support!

Sorry so long.....but thanks for being here!! I appreciate all of you

If you are bleeding for you urinalysis, don' be too concerned about your results. Try taking a shower before your appointment and inserting a tampon. Just try to wipe real good with the towlettes they give you. Try to catch the urine mid stream. Good luck!
