Re: finally...

bamachick - We will definitely be together through this! I am nervous too, but every time I pray about it, I get a little more peace with my decision. Reading the pre-op boards here has really helped me too!

Re: finally...

I have had a very rough week! I went to the doctor with a sinus infection last Wednesday. While I was there, I had a seizure. I have only had one other seizure in my life and that was 17 years ago! After several test they found that I have some abnormal eletrical activity in the left side of my brain that is characteristic to seizure activity. Sooooo I am now on seizure medication and I cannot drive for 6 months according to Alabama state law!
I am trying to stay calm and prepare for my TVH on March 8th.
mcfalls I will definitly keep you in my prayers as we enter this journey together!

Re: finally...

The waiting game is the worst part ladies. PROMISE! I am not saying that you arent going to feel some pain because you will. But, remember, GOD never gives you more than you can handle. Remember that. I think women are way tougher than guys when it comes to pain anyway.
When the last week rolled around before my surgery, I freaked myself out and it was all for nothing. I was thinking of things that never even happened. I seriously would do it all over again if I had to. I FEEL THAT MUCH BETTER.
