desperate for answers ~ night sweats

I am 8wks postop...I have been having severe night sweats from the day I came home from hospital till present...I have not had a good nights sleep since...My daughter is getting me the chillow pillow for my b-day ...Which I am sure will help...But I cannot do any type of hormones till sept-oct..doctors orders...I have a feeling it is going to be a rough summer for me...So does anyone have advice on how to get through this period???...I have days that I just want to cry because I am so so tired of not being able to sleep through the night...I am so very tired of waking up several times through the night dripping and I mean dripping with sweat...It is awful and makes for a very bad night....It is starting to catch up with me and I am starting to feel very very edgy and moody..PLEASE any advice would be welcome..Thank you...Tracey

since you cant take hormones for a few months, maybe your dr can call you in a prescription for a sleep aid? its so hard to recover when you havent had sleep

I take advil pm or tylenol pm when I cant sleep, it works great for me....

I have the same problem and I sleep with the fan directly on me!
