Just got home after LSH today!

I had my hysterectomy today at 7:30am and get home a few hours ago. Overall I feel good. Obviously I'm very sore and so hungry, lol. I have 1 incision in my belly button and 2 near my hips. The one where he took the uterus out is more painful and swollen than the others. I'm assuming this is normal?? I didn't think to pack a pillow for the ride home and that was a HUGE mistake! I am resting much better at home than I was at the hospital. It's sort of unnerving to not know for sure if everything on the inside is fine, but I have faith in my surgeon and he said it went well. I had some scar tissue on my bladder from a previous c secton but that was it. My surgeon doesn't use stitches on the inside, he cauterized everything so my recovery time is supposed to be quicker. I had my uterus and tubes removed and kept my ovaries and cervix. I will update as to how my recovery is moving along over the next few days.
