Becky, you are now 9 days post-op, you should have no 'leaking' from your incision. what is leaking, blood, pus, watery fluid? Is there redness around the incision? Is it warm? Is it very tender? How much leaking?
All in all (being a R.N. that works on surgical wards) I'd say it sounds like your wound is not healing as it should and you should likely get it seen by a physician and probably swabbed for infection.

Anyone have a vertical incision with staples that's leaking?
Hi, I had a very small amount of clear yellowish stuff the day before and the day after I had my staples removed, it came from the area just below my belly button. I only noticed it on the dressing and it had dried up by then. I never had any more after that. I mentioned it to the nurse who said the wound looked fine and it was in my case. I would have it checked just to be sure, hopefully everything will be just fine. Best wishes.
