Hi Hail

Thanks for sharing your success with relaxation through hypnosis.
As a former hypnotherapist myself I know it works.
Hypnosis along with other complimentary disciplines are becoming more widely accepted by the medical establishment. I think that is terrific as it certainly has it's place. I hope someday to see it become covered under insurance plans as chiropractic services now are.
There are a number of tapes available that come under the category of hypnosis, guided imagery or creative visualization. They all work with the subconscious mind and can be used for relaxation, pain management and successful recovery to name a few.

One of our new posted the other day that she was able to stop smoking with a hypnosis session.

Use everything that works is my motto.
Good luck with your upcoming sessions and surgery. You will do just great.

Hi Haileigh,

I was able to totally quit smoking with just two sessions with a psychologist who used hypnotism as part of his therapy. I agree with Shelley - when used by a trained, licensed therapist, it is a definite aid to relaxation.

I'm very glad that it worked for you before and hope that it will again.
