ouchy...bladder pain post hysterectomy 3 weeks

I am having terrible pelvic or bladder pressure. It feels like I need to pee really bad. The pressure is more intense after I potty. I did have a Catheter for 2 weeks (it has been out 1 week). Is this a hysterectomy symptom or a post bladder injury issue? Have you found anything to help relieve it. I am drinking cranberry, taking ibuprofen, using heating pad....no relief.

I also am 3 weeks post op from a lap hysterectomy and have INTENSE pain/pressure in what feels like my pelvic bone (behind clit)... Is this where your pain is too? Is that bladder pain?!



I've never had a bladder infection, only UTI.

It's been 3 weeks too for me as well
I am experiencing the same pain on left side. Heating pads are about the only thing that helps with pain. I tried to do laundry today at laundromat but didn't go
too well pain got more intense, I need to stop worrying about my house work.

Has your doctor tested you for a uti? I had so much pressure about a day after my cath was taken out which I only had it in for one day. But the pain kept getting worse. My doc tested me and sure enough I had a bad uti.

Ask your doctor about RX Uribel. It made my bladder calm down. Feel better soon!

Same here!!! I have pain/tenderness when I pee. I had the same pain early last week and was given antibiotics for possible UTI over the phone by my doctor. Pain did subside, but now again. I'll have to bring this with the doc at my appt today.
