Did it cause you any pain?

Had my 6-week post-op appointment this morning and was released for outercourse, swimming, and takin' a bath! YEAH! I can hear the jets on that tub already! Doc says things are healing nicely, but I still have some stitches that haven't dissolved. So, no intercourse for two more weeks. Given my labido is off the charts, which is something new for me, I'm mentally ready to give things a whirl while anxious about how things will feel.

Were you anxious, and did having the big "O" during outercourse cause you any pain/discomfort?

Did it cause you any pain?

Hi Maxine!
Congrats on your " 6 week status"! I am right behind you, by 8 days.
I had outercourse at 3 weeks. My dr said it wouldn't hurt anything. So last weekend we went for it and no pain or any weird feelings after. I was happy to know I still worked! LOL
Good luck sweetie!

I think knowing you still work is a blessing and a huge concern. Do you feel like your sex drive has went into overtime, I don't know why but since the day of I feel like I am gonna burst at the seams. HA and my DH thought I would lose the sex drive.

Did it cause you any pain?

I noticed my sex drive was higher a week or 2 back.... my dr had me on Femhrt pills for 3 weeks after surgery and I felt fine with the exception of insomnia and then last week she had me go on menostar patch ( one a week ) and my insomnia is just as bad and I feel more moody and less interested in sex

I called her office this morning to tell her and she said I need to give it a few weeks to normalize in my body! I wish I could sleep better.

Anyway... I still feel better than with all my yucky girlie parts! lol

Did it cause you any pain?

I'm not released for relations yet.

But, at 2.5 weeks I had a dream where a Big O woke me up! No, it didn't hurt a bit and wasn't any different than pre-hyster. For me the dream was just comforting that "everything still works!"

Go for it and let us know!

I can totally relate! I'm worse than I was in my teens! In fact, I've never been this way. LOL! I've always been a "I can take it or leave it kind of gal." Don't ask me what I am now, because I'm not sure there's a word for it. HA!
