burning with urination 4 months post op

Early post op SAH until about 2 - 3 months I experienced bladder spasms. It would hurt at the end of emptying my bladder. I would also feel a lot of pressure. Well that has subsided and ever since then I have had burning on and off well now I have had burning for about 7 days straight. I had a urinalysis done this past Thursday and was told today that it was normal. Well it still burns and I constantly feel like I have to go. Also I can see what looks like white blood cells or bacteria in my urine(sorry TMI). Any suggestions would help. Thank you!

Have the doc order the ua to be done at a lab. They may be able to examine it w/greater precision. I had a negative ua and later that day redid it and it was positive for infection that 2nd time.

Thank you for you reply. Im almost positive they did send it out and it came back negative. I have had some burning on and off but this time it is not going away so now I am stuck with burning and urgency along with some pain in my right kidney area. At a loss as to what to do other than push the fluids.

I would talk to yoru dr again .. the urine test can be easily messed up by so many things. and usualy if there is blood cells it means an infection. good luck and feel beter soon

Could it be possible that you have a kidney stone? I don't want you to suffer. The body gives off pain signals when something is wrong. Someone needs to find the cause and fix it. Please keep looking for help.

I have thought of that as I have a history of kidney stones. I have pain by my right kidney but not anywhere as bad as when I have had stones in the past. But I do have to call the dr. back tomorrow because along with the back pain the burning is worse. So something must be going on.
