Increase in bleeding now?

Hi Ladies,
Well, it's been just 2 days past 3 weeks of having a partial LHR. I tell you, it's been a ride. Just when you are feeling better, it seems that something else comes up. Yesturday, I had this warming sensation come over my belly area which kind of made me nauseated. This morning I woke up to find blood in my urine when I went to the bathroom. This is making me very nervous. Could the warming feeling be from the stiches? I also have this light prickly pain feeling on my left side (a little above) the stich area. Any suggestions? It's been there for 2 days now. I didnt really have any bleeding until the 2nd week and then again, it was more of the brownish stuff. Now, for the past 2 weeks, I do have red blood on the pad and sometimes I can see it in the toilet when I go pee. Why would I start to bleed more into my 2nd and 3rd week?

Increase in bleeding now?

I was excited to tell my doc I didn't bleed at all and he said it still may come. During the whole healing process it can happen apparently. As for the pain, I'm not sure what that can be. Your best bet would be to call your doc. Good luck ((Hugs))

Increase in bleeding now?

I agree be safe. But I know I am still spotting occassionally at almost 6 months. Some stitches take a while. Some stitches pull. I would call the dr to let them know what is going on. See what they say. I had TAH/BSO. Dr told me that stitches can last 3 to 8 months in there. But please call!

Bath

Well, the bleeding has stopped, now seems just like a yellow discharge. I think I did a stupid thing yesturday. My legs hurt so I took a bubble bath, didnt clean the tub, took the bath and today, I can pee but you just know that feeling. Wondering at 6 wks post-op if I got an infection due to taking a bath. There is no bleeding so you think the incisions are healed and I shouldnt infect the inside area? I guess I'm a bit concerned. If anything would it just be a UTI? Can the dirty water get up inside you to the incision area and cause an infection?
