Re: 7 months postop checkup
I would be sure your GYN oncologist or whoever does your followup cancer checks is aware. If you have any other symptoms, bring them up, too. It may not be at all cancer related but after cancer, it's best to report things like that so the GYN onc can evaluate it. I wouldn't worry but I would be sure to tell your Dr. I'm not clear on when the appt is but if it's not soon, I'd call and report it. Then you can find out if you need to come in, watch, or whatever. If nothing else it could ease your mind.

Re: 7 months postop checkup
I'm sorry, I know that's scary. But keep in mind so far it's just tests and maybes, nothing is for sure yet. And if there is cancer, best to find out and get going on getting rid of it. How soon is the CT scan? I hope soon, so you can find out what's going on. Please let us know how it comes out. We are here to help you through this.

Re: 7 months postop checkup
Deep breaths, sweetie! It's very good that your doc is being thorough, but that absolutely does not mean that there is more cancer involved. Following my surgery, I lost about fifteen pounds, and it was not due to cancer.
I also wanted to invite you to post on our Cancer Concerns forum, if you'd like. We've got lots of wonderful ladies there who've been there/done that who'll help however they can.
For now, try, try, try not to worry so very much (we know that's a tall order!). Fingers crossed big time for a boring CT scan!
