TVH 3 days post hysterectomy: bleeding

I had my hysterectomy Tuesday morning. I had some spotting (old blood and tissue). Yesterday I could not get ahead of the pain and was miserable. Today I started bleeding fresh bright red blood. Enough that I need I wear a pad but not very heavy. I'm worried I've torn stitches or something. Is this normal? Should I call the doctor? I've been trying to rest but I know I've been up too much. I'm scared now that I've messed something up.

I'm not sure but maybe you should call Dr to be safe. Take care of yourself and rest.
