TAH Almost 4 weeks Post-Hysterectomy Weight Gain

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions/advice for weight gain. During my surgery I had a cyst removed that was 32 lbs, and the week following the surgery I lost an additional 8 lbs. But now I am gaining lbs, not inches, I'm actually losing inches. It's disheartening though as I've gained 6 lbs in less than a month. I walk for 2 hours everyday and watch what I eat. I am diabetic so I know it's easy for me to gain weight. Also, I do get swollen in my stomach and hip area from about 3 pm onward but I weigh myself in the mornings. Thank you in advance to anyone who has any wisdom for me

I feel great and have tons of energy mixed with enough pain to remind me that the surgery was serious and not to over do it.

If you are gaining weight but losing inches, I am guessing that you are turning fat into muscle and you shouldn't worry about the scale. You can google ladies who have lost fat, gained muscle and weight, and they look much slimmer than they did prior to getting fit. How do you look and how do your clothes fit? That is more important than the scale.
